Dear friends of the ocean, 

Happy holidays!

As this year comes to a close, we want to pause and simply say thank you.

Quiet Ocean Standards Initiative exists because people like you care deeply about the future of our oceans. Your support helps ensure that ocean technologies, policies, and industries move forward responsibly, with marine life and ecosystem health at the center.

This year, we showed up where it mattered most. We represented the ocean in international standards conversations, advocated for quieter ocean technologies, and worked to ensure that decisions being made today do not come at the expense of marine life tomorrow. 

As we prepare for the year ahead, we are at a pivotal moment. The work of shaping global standards is ongoing, and continued engagement is essential to ensure the ocean has a voice. 

A year-end gift helps us sustain this work, stay present at critical decision-making tables, and continue advocating for long-term ocean health. Since we have taken on a new project to write a bio-friendly underwater network, we will need to hire more experts for this full time work and would like to ask you to make a commitment for on-going donations of a set amount every month of 2026.
